'Life After Top Chef' with Jennifer Carroll Premieres October 3

Chef Jennifer Carroll to appear on Bravo's Life After Top Chef
By GLAMOROSI

After having appeared on Top Chef and Top Chef All Stars as one of its most notable participants, Jennifer Carroll is ready to take a crack at the Bravo network for a third round with Life After Top Chef. The show, featuring fellow top-tier contestants including Fabio Viviani, Spike Mendelsohn, and one of Top Chef’s victors, Richard Blais, finds Carroll and Company going through the paces of a career lived in the public eye.

Carroll was in the limelight even before TV fame due to her Executive Chef position at Eric Ripert’s 10 Arts at the Ritz Carlton in Philadelphia, a successful gig that she left earlier this year to pursue other projects.  One of those was her hunt for a location for her Concrete Blonde restaurant, which very nearly wound up at 13th and Chestnut in Philly. Instead, Carroll picked up stakes, went to New York City, and won her first round of approvals for a white linen restaurant in the West Village (at 33 Greenwich Street). Concrete Blonde will reportedly build a menu around seafood.

The Life After Top Chef program probably won’t focus on her time at present in New York City, as the Bravo show stopped filming a while ago. Look for the network to capture Carroll at work, at play and visiting her chef friends with stops at Sbraga (owned by season 7 Top Chef winner Kevin Sbraga) and Brauhaus Schmitz (a German restaurant on Philly’s South Street) where Bravo cameras were spotted filming.

Bravo’s Life After Top Chef will premiere on October 3 at 10 pm
