East Passyunk Avenue Business Improvement District (EPABID) and twenty-one dining establishments from the area will launch the debut East Passyunk Avenue Restaurant Week on Sunday, February 24, through Saturday, March 2, 2013. During the event the restaurants will feature three-course prix fixe menus (brunch, lunch and dinner), beverage pairings, and off-menu specials.

The trendy East Passyunk Avenue neighborhood boasts a cross-section of cuisines ranging from elegant, upscale restaurants such as Will BYOB (with some of the most gorgeously presented dishes we've ever eaten) and Stateside, rustic Italian fare from establishments including Paradiso and Le Virtu, and Mexican specialties from Cantina Los Caballitos and El Zarape. After dining, patrons can stroll along East Passyunk Avenue to visit the independently owned shops and boutique and the Singing Fountain, a community gathering spot on Tasker Street.

Kris, (formerly Kristian's) the modern Italian restaurant at 1100 Federal (on S. 11th street), has long been one of our favorites and is on our "don't miss" list for East Passyunk Avenue Restaurant Week. Chef Kristian Leuzzi and his top-notch staff will be offering appetizers like Crispy Calamari and Hand-Made Swiss Chard-Ricotta Ravioli, main dishes including their outstanding risotto presented with Seared Wild Sea Scallops, Mushroom and Brussels Sprouts, and desserts that you absolutely must save room for like their Ricotta donuts. Reservations are available on Sunday, Monday and Wednesday through Saturday by calling 215.468.0104, or on OpenTable.com.
