Val says, “I really want her to showcase her effort in mastering the technique of ballroom dancing.” Zendaya wears a knee-length beaded fringe dress in black and silver; Val is in black shirt and pants. After Zendaya and Val dance, Tom Bergeron points out that they had a standing ovation before they even started. Bruno says, “It was a personality-driven splendid shamble of a samba.” Carrie Ann says Andy is in her heart, but she had to look back at her notes to see what dance he was doing. Carrie Ann likes the amount of bounce in the routine, but says Sean has to learn to listen to the music. Len says the “technique could have had a little bit of improvement here and there”, but also, “It was a real foxy foxtrot.” Bruno calls the dance “Pretty as a picture”, but he wants her to work on her frame.
