Disney Star Zendaya and Val Chmerkovskiy do a Cha-cha-cha to the song “Do I Do”. Val says, “I really want her to showcase her effort in mastering the technique of ballroom dancing.” Zendaya wears a knee-length beaded fringe dress in black and silver; Val is in black shirt and pants. After Zendaya and Val dance, Tom Bergeron points out that they had a standing ovation before they even started. Len says “Ask me a word that sums up great dancing.” The word is “Zendaya.” Bruno raves that the performance was “Gobsmacking gorgeous.” Carrie Ann is “blown away” and feels sorry for everyone that has to come after Zendaya.

Bruno says, “It was a personality-driven splendid shamble of a samba.” Carrie Ann says Andy is in her heart, but she had to look back at her notes to see what dance he was doing. Len says, “You come out here and you give us fun… if the others have climbed hills you’ve climbed mountains… great job, well done.”

Sean says he feels uncoordinated when he tries to shimmy, and Peta worries because Sean has scheduling conflicts that affect rehearsals this week. Sean wears purplish blue pants and shirt (during the dance Peta rips off his shirt); Peta wears a matching costume with a fringed skirt. Carrie Ann likes the amount of bounce in the routine, but says Sean has to learn to listen to the music. Len’s remarks include that the dance was riddled with mistakes, and that his upper body had no musicality. Bruno tells Sean to “look on the bright side, you can always get a job as a stripper”

Len says the “technique could have had a little bit of improvement here and there”, but also, “It was a real foxy foxtrot.” Bruno calls the dance “Pretty as a picture”, but he wants her to work on her frame. Carrie Ann praises how Aly is connected to her emotions.
