BalletX Holds Their Annual Premiere Party on June 19 in Philadelphia

On Wednesday, June 19, the contemporary ballet company known as BalletX will hold their annual premiere party and fundraiser from 6:00 to 9:30 PM in the Vista Room at Top of the Tower in Philadelphia, PA (1717 Arch Street, 50th Floor). Guests will enjoy a wine tasting, cocktails and dinner, live music, a silent auction, and speeches by choreographer Nicolo Fonte and BalletX founders Christine Cox and Matthew Neenan.

The BalletX Premiere Party benefits their mission to “expand the vocabulary of classical dance for all audiences.” During the event, guest choreographer Nicolo Fonte will speak about his BalletX debut and the world premiere of his new ballet, Beautiful Decay, as part of the company’s Summer Series. Beautiful Decay will run July 10-14 at the Wilma Theater (265 S Broad Street, Phila. PA, 215.546.7824), and is about growing older. BalletX founders and artistic directors Christine Cox and Matthew Neenan will also address the attendees and reveal more highlights of the upcoming 2013-2014 season.

The evening’s festivities will also feature a wine tasting hosted by Moore Brothers Wine Company, cocktails and dinner buffet, live music by Sunshine Superman, and a silent auction featuring prizes from Philadelphia restaurants and businesses.
