Bradley Cooper Reportedly Heading to Philadelphia for Premiere of 'The Words'

Bradley Cooper fans in Philadelphia may get a glimpse of the actor on August 27, as he is rumored to be visiting the city for the premiere of  The Words at the Prince Music Theater (1412 Chestnut Street, Philadelphia, PA 19102).  The Words stars Cooper as a struggling writer who finds himself in a world of immense success and then nerve-rattling trouble after he plagiarizes someone else’s manuscript.

The Words co-stars Oscar winning actor Jeremy Irons, Dennis Quaid, Olivia Wilde and Zoe Saldana (the latter to whom Cooper has been romantically linked), and was co-written and co-directed by Brian Klugman and Lee Sternthal. Like Cooper, Klugman and Sternthal are both from Philadelphia. Klugman is a writer with television credits at Psych, Mad Men, House M.D. and Without a Trace (to say nothing of the hit film Cloverfield), while Sternthal is known for his story credit for Jeff Bridges’ TRON: Legacy. Both writers are due to attend the premiere of The Words.

Cooper is currently getting ready for the national openings of the action-comedy movie Hit and Run (August 22, 2012) and the filmed-in-Philly flick Silver Linings Playbook (November 21, 2012), plus preparing for round three of the mega-money-making Hangover series. Cooper is also doing pre-production for Silver Linings Playbook director David O. Russell’s project about the Abscam political scandal, and wrapping up roles in the Depression Era pot-boiler Serena (due out in 2013 co-starring Silver Linings’ Jennifer Lawrence) and the action drama The Place Beyond the Pines with Ryan Gossling.
