X Factor Judges L.A. Reid, Demi Lovato, Britney Spears, Simon Cowell |
Yesterday afternoon (Oct. 22) X Factor creator and judge Simon Cowell Tweeted, “I wanted you guys to be the first to know that FOX have confirmed that @TheXFactorUSA will be back next year for its third season.” It wasn’t unexpected news, but it was still a welcome update for fans of the televised singing competition.
Although last week’s X Factor broadcast didn’t go completely as planned – the Top 16 reveal episode was pre-empted by a rain delayed baseball game – there were spoilers, since most of the program still aired on Canada's CTV. Then the news came that editors were re-cutting the show which will now air tonight, (Tuesday, Oct. 23) at 9:30/8:30c on FOX.
There were also reports confirming the hiring of new co-hosts Mario Lopez and Khloe Kardashian, articles about contestant David Correy finding his birth Mother, and speculation about judge Britney Spears' upcoming wedding to Jason Trawick.
