On an annual basis, IHP presents over 200 events including films, concerts, seminars, symposiums, receptions and cultural dining programs.

On May 17, 2014, International House Philadelphia will host the 53rd Global Gala: Colors of Brazil, a black tie event featuring Brazilian cuisine from Modern Palate , music from Dendê & Band and DJ Ben Arsenal, decorations from Papertini Floral & Event Design, and a silent auction. In honor of the Colors of Brazil event, Glamorosi Magazine is pleased to offer a giveaway for a one-year Individual Membership to International House Philadelphia, with a retail value of $60. International House Philadelphia members receive free or reduced price entry to events, and additional benefits including invitations to special members-only receptions and events throughout the year plus 10% discount on language classes.

In addition to the Colors of Brazil gala, upcoming events at International House Philadelphia include the Reelblack presentation of Sidewalk Stories 25th Anniversary with Writer/director/star Charles Lane on hand for a post-film discussion (June 25), and The Janus Collection Special Presentation of The Beatles' A Hard Day's Night with a new restoration from the original camera negative and soundtrack remixed/remastered by producer Giles Martin at Abbey Road Studios (July 5).

One name will be selected in a random drawing on Wednesday, May 14, 2014 Friday, May 16, and that lucky person will win a one-year, individual membership to International House Philadelphia. The winner will be notified by email, so please make sure your email address is in your commenting profile.
