Occasionally at Glamorosi we work with companies to give our honest opinions about their new products. Carmex recently sent us a bright yellow beach tote and six of their Carmex Sticks with SPF 15. They also offered to send the same kit to our readers if we held a giveaway.
While some might think of rough or dry lips as a winter issue, a lot of us experience chapped lips in the summer from extreme temperature changes (going from air conditioning into outdoor heat), swimming (chlorine and salt water) and sun exposure from activities like biking and gardening. Carmex Sticks' ultra moisturizing forumula contains an SPF 15 water-resistant sunscreen, so it helps soothe and heal chapped lips while preventing sun damage. We like the way it feels on our lips - smooth but not gummy or waxy - and the bit of menthol in their formula has a pleasant cooling effect.
Carmex Sticks with SPF 15 comes in six flavors: Original, Cherry, Strawberry, Vanilla, Lime Twist, and the new Pomegranate, which has a wonderful fruity fragrance. A.D. (my husband) likes the Pomegranate best, my favorite is the Lime Twist - it has a nice citrusy scent.
