Weeks ago, we dropped the exclusive on Miley Cyrus and the location of where she recorded music last summer during her stay in Philadelphia with fiancé Liam Hemsworth (he was in The City of Brotherly Love shooting Paranoia, which is now back in Philly for filming that wraps tomorrow, December 18). Today, that studio, Milkboy on N. 7th Street in the Northern Liberties section of the city, gave us news of the tracks’ producers.

Tommy Joyner, the owner of Milkboy Studio, says that during Cyrus’ July-August sessions, she used his B Room while working on new material for her upcoming fourth album with producers Oren Yoel (Asher Roth) and Stacey Barthe (Rihanna, Britney Spears).  Despite what was reported in the blogosphere, Joyner says Cyrus did not return to the studio for additional sessions.

Cyrus has been busy, first recording with producers such as Pharrell Williams in Miami and Hit-Boy in L.A. before hitting up Philly. This past September at the 2012 MTV Video Music Awards, Cyrus announced that she will have a single out before 2012’s end (unlikely as of today Dec 17).

Milkboy Studio was once owned by Sound of Philadelphia arranger Larry Gold (he still mixes there), and has studios run by The Roots. Milkboy is currently renting studio space in their A Room to Philly’s punk giants Pissed Jeans (on Sub Pop) and producer/engineer Alex Newport (Bloc Party, Death Cab for Cutie), as well as Jordan Meredith, Kelly Clarkson’s partner on ABC's Duets program.
