Yesterday Jay-Z unveiled the list of performers for Made in America 2 (MIA2), his Labor Day weekend festival on Philadelphia’s Ben Franklin Parkway that debuted last summer. The rapper, sports agent and all-around entrepreneur included his wife Beyoncé, her sister Solange and Trent Reznor’s industrial legend Nine Inch Nails on the MIA2 list.

Wednesday’s reveal was a tad annoying. You either had to join the Spotify music service, or watch as national news services got the announcements in drips and drabs. No matter. We’re just glad Jay-Z is doing MIA2; his participation was in question due to his summer stadium tour with Justin Timberlake and its two local dates: August 4 in Hershey, PA, and August 13 in Philadelphia.

Beyoncé will top the roster for Day 1 (August 31) with Nine Inch Nails topping Day 2 (September 1). After that, the list is a who’s-who of rock and rap’s finest. On the hip hop tip, Solange, Kendrick Lamar and his Black Hippy crew (Ab-Soul, Jay Rock and Schoolboy Q), Public Enemy, 2 Chainz, A$AP Rocky, Wiz Khalifa and Miguel are on the bill. For the indie-rockers, there’s France’s Phoenix, Queens of the Stone Age, and Gaslight Anthem. Electronic dance enthusiasts will again get their own tent headlined by DeadMau5 and Calvin Harris.

MIA2 tickets will cost $99.50, with VIP packages available for $499, just like last year. No word as to whether Jay-Z will play MIA2, but let’s face it, he built it. His wife is there. He’s a ham. It’s on.

In other Jay-Z news, Hova is busy curating and producing the soundtrack to The Great Gatsby; selling his share of the Brooklyn Nets so he can extend his Roc Nation Sports agency into basketball; signing contracts for his new deal with Universal Records. Also, in a song called “Open Letter”, Jay-Z addresses the Congressional investigation into his Cuban vacation with Beyoncé; you can hear it below.
