Winners Named at Smirnoff Fluffed and Whipped Rockstar Bartender Contest at QFest 2012 Party

For QFest Philly's number 18's preview party, they had gorgeous, cool weather in a swanky new space - The Havana Room at the Piazza - with a fire pit and comfy beach deck seating.  Glamorosi and I were but two of the endless - no, seriously endless - array of judges who enjoyed the work of 12 mixologists who competed for big prizes by making cocktails for Smirnoff Vodka's Fluffed and Whipped Rockstar Bartender Contest.

I traded morning show television secrets with the night's host, Mike Jerrick from Fox's Good Day Philadelphia, and laughed uproariously every time my wife, Glamorosi, had to say one of the ribald cocktail names out loud. Juvenile, but hilarious.

Pro Bar's Marley Pfeffer

First place went to Jazz from iCandy in Philly - his prize was concert tickets and a meet-and-greet with Madonna.  Patrick Curtis from Tashan, one of our favorite restaurants, took second place - his prize was VIP Phillies tickets.

We also enjoyed the drinks from Marley Pfeffer and Bill from Pro Bar at Resorts in Atlantic City, NJ. (the only gay club in a casino in the country). Marley was recently voted Atlantic City's Sexiest Bartender.
