Liam Hemsworth's Paranoia Ready to Film in Philadelphia, PA

It’s been fun watching Liam Hemsworth and Miley Cyrus walking their dog Ziggy in Rittenhouse Square and hitting the area’s shops like DiBruno’s. But now it’s time for Hemsworth to get to work on Paranoia, his filming-in-Philly flick with Harrison Ford, Amber Heard, Lucas Till and Gary Oldman.

This morning film crews started lining up along Ninth Street between South and Lombard, while scaffolding went up (along with black iron fencing, new sleek doors and a grayish coat of paint) on the one-time church space on Lombard between Eighth and Ninth, the first shooting location for director Robert Luketic’s Paranoia. The film finds Harrison Ford’s corporate executive character squaring off against Oldman’s CEO for Hemsworth’s tech science services.

Filming is scheduled to start Saturday morning. The last time the two older actors ran into each other, it was in Air Force One where Indiana Jones played the President and threw terrorist Oldman off his plane. On a much more serious note, Oldman must be in distress with the news of the shooting that took place overnight in Aurora, Colorado during a midnight screening of his Batman: The Dark Knight Rises. Our hearts go out to the victims of the tragedy.

UPDATE August 3: Aug 1 Paranoia shoot was at Twenty Manning restaurant off of Rittenhouse Square. On Aug 2nd we were at 17th and Walnut outside of Sofitel where they were doing interior shots. We heard Liam Hemsworth and Lucas Till were filming, but our crew only saw Liam. We also talked to some happy fans. UPDATE July 24:  Spent the afternoon at Paranoia location at 5th & Morris. Liam Hemsworth shirtless. Josh Holloway friendly. Tomorrow Paranoia moves to Loews Hotel at 12th and Market and may be at 9th and Lombard.

UPDATE July 24: Look for Paranoia filming between 4th and 5th on Morris near Tasker, same area we told you about yesterday. We hear Liam Hemsworth will be there.

UPDATE July 23:  Paranoia goes further into South Philly with filming scheduled on Tuesday, July 24 at 6th and Tasker (5 am to 6 pm), and Wednesday, July 25 and Thursday, July 26 around 5th and Tasker (7 am to 6 pm).  This info comes from a crew member, times are approximate, subject to change.
